Think You Cant Succeed as an Entrepreneur The Facts Prove Otherwise.

Think You Cant Succeed as an Entrepreneur The Facts Prove Otherwise. Last month I came across Maggie Roses blog post that touted how female-owned businesses are rockin, complete with gorgeous visuals to make us creatives uber-delighted. You definitely need to check it out to see the purdiness, but it was the facts that made my pupils turn into lil hearts: There are 8.1+ million female business owners who employ over 7 million people and make $1.3 trillion (!!!!) in revenue. While women-owned businesses account for just 29% of all enterprises and employ only 6% of the workforce, studies show that women-owned businesses will generate the majority (up to 57%) of jobs over the next few years. Were more likely to have positive reviews than the mens, even though we have less experience prior to becoming an entrepreneur (maybe because we follow our passions more often?) and  spend less time looking for business opportunities (maybe because we use our arguably superior communication/relationship skills?). It made me hunt for something Ive held onto since 2008-ish, when When I Grow Up Coach LLC was just a lil seed and I was still plugging away as an Executive Assistant while getting my life coach certification on the side. It made such an impression that I cut it out and kept it close, recently rubber cementing it to a piece of cardstock and adding it to my Right Brain Business Plan. I have no idea who originally published it, but I have a feeling it was Self, since I subscribed to it for a number of years. Anyway, Yes, you can start your own business: You remember those people who dont like to hear that were quitting our jobs and finding our passions? Add this to the circumstantial evidence proving otherwise. Case closed.
